An ever-increasing requirement upon the corporate legal department is to provide the organization with a robust and effective Litigation Hold capability.
The Advocator System® enables this process to be managed and controlled in a streamlined, consistent and measureable fashion, able to support internal audit or the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and/or other legal and regulatory/fiduciary obligations.
Workflow Process:
The simple workflow diagram below depicts the typical Litigation Hold process within the Advocator System®.

The system can include client-designed, pre-formatted litigation hold, reminder and lift notices which will be emailed automatically to pre-defined recipients.
Reminders can also be sent automatically at specified, date-driven intervals and the lift notice may be configured to act as a "tickler" to relevant legal staff.
Configuration/Toggleability:
The format and content of the emails, is entirely at the client’s discretion.
Historical details of the settings, the person who set them, and the date they were created and/or adjusted, can be viewed at any time. Copies may be downloaded electronically or printed off.
