Gary was thrust into the insurance market arena during the turmoil created by the "London Market Spiral" which caused many Lloyds of London "names" to become bankrupted and spawned in 1998, the world's largest insurance run-off company, Equitas. He led the project team on claims processes focusing on litigation and legal spend management.
After a successful close out of this significant undertaking, Gary set up his own consultancy in the Lloyds and London insurance markets, operating from One Lime street offices. His company, Management Process Consulting Ltd, concentrated on providing solutions and sales and marketing representation for a number of US-based companies, including one of the early adopters of litigation management, Legalgard.
Having helped to position Legalgard with a number of UK-based clients, including Zurich Insurance Services, he was made Managing Director at CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation), when it bought out the controlling interests of Legalgard's owners in 2001.
Gary continued as MD – Legal Solutions with CSC until 2004, when he decided to branch out alone and formed LSG. After stepping down as CEO from LSG, he now heads our strategic planning and business development efforts.
As a thought leader and educator in claims and litigation management, Gary has nearly 20 years of consulting, technology and BPO experience, based on supporting insurance, TPA and corporate legal clients in more than 50 countries. He has written and published many papers and articles on the subject.
Gary achieved his Masters in Project Management (majoring in Corporate Strategy) from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh.
